Brassicas are the largest and the most diversified crop produced by South Pacific Seeds. Because our production areas are located over a wide range of latiudes, (34 degrees south to 47 degrees south) we can offer a choice of location for many brassica species. These incude cauliflowers, cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts, kohlrabi, kale, radish (white & red), Chinese cabbage, Chinese mustard, pak choi, choi sum, mizuna and mibuna.

The diversity of our production areas offers our customers a wide range of climatic factors, which are vital for the successful production of many brassica species.

South Pacific Seeds specialises in the production of hybrid brassicas. With an experienced field staff we carry out the necessary field practices to give good quality hybrid seed, ensuring isolation, trimming to provide a good flowering nick and controlling honey bee numbers.

We work in close co-operation with our customers for specific requirements for individual crops.
